GoProject is comprised of six fundamental database types, used concurrently to contain information in hierarchical and complementary reports and documents. The configuration is essentially modeled on an organizational structure, beginning with central Time Management and Directory databases which exist outside the organizational framework (see illustration) and a master Configuration database. A single Senior Management database provides the highest level of information, incorporating all other databases within its area of reference and accessibility, pulling specific data from Management and Project Management databases to generate reports and views and providing direct access to any Management or Project database. Unlimited multiple Management databases may be created under the Senior Management level, each containing similar groups of Project Management databases in groupings reflective of their common attributes (i.e., arranged as the organization classifies its internal resources or activity centers: geographically, by discipline, by function, etc.). Access is afforded to all Project Management databases grouped in each Management database, but not to other Management or Project databases. Within each Management database, unlimited multiple Project Management databases contain specific functions, reports, and views accessible to designated project team members classified by Role. Information contained within these reports and views is pushed to appropriate Management and Senior Management reports, and Roles are directly linked to functions resident in the Time Management and Directory databases to define security, accessibility and functional attributes. All functions within all databases are web-enabled to facilitate Internet utilization. Navigators and views will vary as a function of server-based or web-based access, and electronic mail interfaces will require additional configuration for web-enabled connectivity
